We would like to inform you that an Accommodation Tax will be introduced in Okinawa Prefecture for stays from Monday, February 1, 2027.
■ Accommodation Tax: 2% of the accommodation charge per person per night (excluding tax), up to a maximum of JPY 2,000 per person per night
※ Please note that the accommodation tax is currently not included in the rates displayed on reservation systems. The payment method may also vary depending on the booking website or platform used.
※ The “accommodation charge” subject to the accommodation tax includes the room charge and any related service charges. Meal charges, consumption tax, and other applicable charges are not subject to the accommodation tax.
※ In the event of any changes to the tax system or applicable regulations after your reservation has been made, the amount charged may be adjusted in accordance with the tax regulations in effect on the date of your stay.
※ Please note that even if your reservation was made before Monday, February 1, 2027, the accommodation tax will apply to stays on or after February 1, 2027.
