In accordance with the enforcement of the Hokkaido and Sapporo City municipal ordinances, Accommodation Tax is scheduled to be introduced from April 1, 2026 (Wed).

■Accommodation Tax Rate
Accommodation tax is taxed as follows for each person staying overnight.

※Accommodation charges shall be 「Room charge」 including service charges, excluding 「Meal charge」 and 「Consumption tax」.

– Accommodation tax is separate from 「Accommodation fee」 and 「Bathing tax」, and you need to pay at check-in.
However, depending on the reservation method, there are cases where you pay in advance.
